The Rabin Medical Exchange Fellows program selects top doctors, researchers and medical practitioners from hospitals and research centers in the United States and Israel to conduct research and share expertise in each other’s institutions. Forty fellowships have been sponsored by American Friends of Rabin Medical Center since 2010 at premier medical institutions and hospitals across the United States.A fellow can be sponsored and named for $5k $10k for two to four weeks and $30k for a one year fellowship.Currently, we have 14 new fellows awaiting their fellowships.

The evening will also help support two additional funds. The Abraham & Yvonne Cohen Cardiac & Medical Research Fund supports innovative medical and scientific research projects at Israel’s Rabin Medical Center, it also supports the Rabin Medical Fellows internationally, including in the USA, Israel, Europe, and Japan. An annual Prize is presented each year to a worth Rabin Fellow who best represents the spirit of innovation, medical care, research, and technology, fostering new frontiers in global medicine.

The second fund is The Moinian Neurology Fellowship Fund which perpetuates the professional legacy of the late Dr. Nobandegani. The fund honors his medical career through the sponsorship of annual Rabin Fellows who will travel from Israel’s Rabin Medical Center to the US to specialize in the area of neurology treatment, surgery, and research.
